More Information
It is constructed from scratch and impact resistant polycarbonate with a flame retardant coating and gives excellent wide-angle vision. The visor is secured in place by two U-shaped clamps and the mask is made from liquid silicon rubber with a reflex seal and TPE ori-nasal inner mask.
It has been designed for use with the Scott safety breathing apparatus from the SCBA professional firefighting range as well as the airline and escape breathing apparatus range. It is suitable for providing high-quality respiratory protection in IDLH- type environments.
The ergonomic design allows a user with spectacles to use the mask without compromising the seal and it is available with either a two-point adjustable Polyester/Kevlar net style harness or five point Neoprene strap style harness that is fully adjustable.
It features a bayonet connection on the left- hand side for the demand valve and has the option of a right- hand quick- fit port for connecting a communications interface, if needed.
The inhale valve flaps are made from silicon rubber, exhale valve flaps are poly isoprene rubber in a polyamide valve housing, the valve spring is made from stainless steel.
The packaged dimensions are 265 mm x 190 mm x 150 mm and it weighs 0.75 kg.
The vision 3 is certified to AS/NZS 1716: 2012 when used along with the Scott safety SCBA .
It is also CE marked in accordance with EN 137:2006 class 2, when in use with the ProPak, Contour or ACS system.
It is also CE marked in accordance with EN 137 when in use with the Scott safety airline system.
