It is smaller and at least 50% lighter than other instruments in its class and is also concussion and water resistant in design.
Its LCD display continuously shows simultaneous gas concentrations for five gases. It has an integrated motorised pump option enabling remote sampling functions.
The gas alert micro 5 PID offers 0 to 1000 ppm measurements of volatile organic compounds. It also features two bright wide-angle alarm bars and a 95dB audio alarm combined with an internal vibrating alarm.
Theg three backlighting options for use in low light or in alarm only mode allows the unit to be used on demand or in stealth mode (or auto mode when needed).
This unit supports the following languages; English, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
Automated calibrations are made simple by the Microdock II automatic testing & calibration station.
This unit can record STEL, TWA, and maximum gas exposures on demand.
It also features user selectable fuel options including PID/combustible correction, convert speech, language selection, span level, TWA/STEL calculation, calibration due date, latching alarm, pass code production, safe display function, stealth mode, as well as selectable PPM resolution for various gases such as SO2.
This unit supports full function self testing of important functions such as battery, sensor, circuit integrity and alarm systems. Its dimensions are; 145mm x 74mm x 38mm and it weighs 370g.
