As a company they are unique in the respect that they design, manufacture, supply and service all of their safety products.

The company was first launched in 1957 as a chain of pharmacies and in 1968 developed their first oxygen resuscitator unit under the respire brand name. Later in 1978 they began manufacturing branded chemical protective clothing and in the same year launched their first gas-tight protective suit.

They now have an impressive range of safety products including: Air fed chemically protective suits and chemical work wear for the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries , chemical splash suits and CBRN equipment for fire fighting/prevention, gas tight suits, protective boots and overboots for a wide range of industries and applications.

Their in-house testing facilities are UKAS accredited for chemical permeation testing to EN 374-3, EN ISO 6529 and ASTM 739, and continually tests the fabrics and seams in order to maintain the highest levels of personal; safety in hazardous environments for their wearers.
