It comes with a 3/16" wire rope lifeline along with aluminium side plates, which give it the highest level of durability combined with low weight.
Another feature is the anti-ratcheting twin disc brake system combined with an audio indicator, which allows the user to be informed the unit is functioning correctly.
The autolock is a dual- mode self- retracting lifeline fall arrest rescue system and is a world's first. It can operate in either:
Automatic mode;
Whereby the unit will operate like a normal descender, only when a fall occurs, a speed- sensing brake will slow the fall, then instantly a centrifugal brake will be activated, lowering the user at a safe controlled speed to the ground or next level or
Fall arrest mode;
Where the fall will be stopped by speed- sensing brake, reducing force to 6 KN or less, permitting an assisted rescue to take place.
It is rated for 34 kg to 141 kg, has a maximum arresting force of 6 , is equipped with a 15 meter cable and a descent speed of 1M/S.
Its dimensions are 20 cm x 29 cm x 9 cm and it weighs 8.5 kg.
This unit complies with CE EN360 and EN34, its snap hook is made from zinc plated alloy steel, which is self- locking and swiveling and has a tensile strength of 22.2 KN.
