The MSA SavOx chemical oxygen self rescuer is designed to offer the user the quickest possible escape in hazardous environments where there are toxic gases present or a deficiency of oxygen.
This unit will supply breathable oxygen for at least 30 minutes through the deployment of KO2 (chemical potassium superoxide) and is fully EN 13794 compliant. The oxygen is produced relative to the users breathing demand rate, with automatic startup for the time when it is first donned.
It is small in size, easily worn and low in weight and virtually maintenance free has a life expectancy in storage of up to 10 years and is supplied with escape goggles and is fitted with a double heat exchanger which will reduce the inhaled air to a safe and comfortable level.
Weighing just 2.5kg, its dimensions are 22mm x 160mm x 110mm.
